Mourinho insists Chelsea deserves to win.

Image

It was Mourinho’s second ever defeat at Stamford Bridge and it came on the occasion of his 100th home game. These were his words on BBC Sport: “Congratulations to Palace. It’s a fantastic result for them and a very good performance. We didn’t deserve to lose. But Palace gave us a very difficult game. The result should be a draw, which would still be bad for us. We did enough not to lose. We had good opportunities, a huge penalty appeal at 0-0. “My two centre-backs and keeper played a very good game. We created lots of chances but we had a couple of players who were not in the game. When the team is not consistent and there aren’t 10 players on the pitch at a certain ...

PDP media watchdog says Buhari's appointments are fraudulent, asymmetrical.

Image
President Buhari A group, PDP Media Watchdog has described the appointments so far made by President Buhari as fraudulent and asymmetrical, saying that the President’s anti-corruption war is a charade and a deceit. The group while responding to the recent appointments as announced by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina said that people’s expectation of President Buhari to remove his ethnic and military mentality and embrace democracy may not come to pass after all. “We mentioned this in our last statements that President Buhari and the APC is only making noise with corruption and probe to cover up their plans to derail this country. The President claimed to be fighting corruption but does not know that even lopsided appointment is also corruption. According to an English dictionary, corruption is defined as ‘dishonest actions that destroys people’s trust in the person or group’ and in another definition, it says, ‘corruption is the mis...

Other nations make the sale, country-country. “From other countries, when we buy oil, whatever we want to pay, we pay to the Ministry of Finance of that country. In Nigeria, we pay to intermediaries. We would like to be dealing directly with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). It’s not a good thing. Why should we go through intermediaries? “Secondly, we would also li...
