IMO YOUTHS WELCOME OUR AUGUST VISITOR



National President of Imo Youth Vanguard Comrade Ifeanyi-Cy Njoku on behalf of Imo Youths congratulate Imo women on the 2015 August meeting. The Youth Leader on behalf of the group also joined the Wife of Imo State Governor, Mrs Nkechi Rochas Okorocha to welcome the Wife of Nigeria President HAJIA AISHA BUHARI who was ably represented by Mrs Osibanjo wife of Nigeria Vice President on the occasion of 2015 Imo Women August Meeting holding today Friday 14th August 2015 at HERO'S SQUARE, Owerri Imo State.
As they deliberate and brainstorm on the Role of women in nation Building, Democracy and good Governance. I urge them to look inwards on ways of fostering community development, peace, unity and most importantly building of home front by instilling patriotism, good morals and Christian faith among their children as a step in nation building.
To the Host, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Governor Imo State, may this year's August meeting which your amiable wife (Nneoma Imo) has been spearheading, be a reminder to you, as you reflect on delivering your electioneering campaign promises made to Ndi -Imo during last year's Imo Women August meeting held at Dan Anyiam Stadium.
To Ndi-Imo, we owe our leaders in position of authority, citizens support, prayers and robust engagement through partnership and constructive criticism. Then and only then will their be good governance and development to all.

More than 200 houses sink as Flood hits Benue State.

In Makurdi of Benue State, many part of the City was today hit by a major disaster following over four hours of heavy rainfall which submerged and sinked about 200 houses, livestocks and huts and also swept away property and valuables of residents, worth millions of Naira.
