SENATE PRESIDENT CONFIRMS MINISTERIAL NOMINEES.



Senate President, Bukola Saraki has confirmed nominations of former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, his Ekiti and Lagos States counterparts, Kayode Fayemi and Raji Fashola as ministerial nominees while reading the list of nominees submitted to the senate on Tuesday also confirmed the nomination of former governor of old Abia State, Ogbonaya Onu.




The nominees are to appear before the Senate for screening on Tuesday next week.

In Makurdi of Benue State, many part of the City was today hit by a major disaster following over four hours of heavy rainfall which submerged and sinked about 200 houses, livestocks and huts and also swept away property and valuables of residents, worth millions of Naira.
