MALAM EL-RUFAI PROVIDED EVIDENCES FOR SARAKI'S PROSECUTION.

Reports today has it that Kaduna State Governor, Mallam El-Rufai is the brain behind the provision of evidences that will be used in prosecuting the Senate President, Bukola Saraki. Below is what Senate President Bukola Saraki's Special Assistant on Media, Bamikola Omishore wrote on his Twitter handle.

A statement by the prosecution lawyer, Rotimi Jacobs in the ongoing trial of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal today over allegations of false declaration of assets revealed that the evidences against the Senate President were provided by the Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
Further media reports have it that El-Rufai could have gathered the classified information during his time as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja from 16 July 2003 to 29 May 2007.
